Farmer Matt Social Alternative Route, 27.5 Miles, Cat B (Return Ride 13.5 Miles)

This is an alternative 27.5-mile ride from the Long Pond boat ramp in Rutland, MA, to Farmer Matt in New Braintree, through Barre and Hardwick, at a B pace. Leader is Enrico Betti.

This ride rolls out at 10 a.m. This should get us to the 12:15 lunch (catered cookout)  before 11:45.  The return to the boat ramp through North Brookfield will be 13.5 miles: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/40708449
The return will be at a slower, more social, after-lunch pace.

Lunchtime is 12:15 p.m.
$10 per person includes hamburger/cheeseburger, or veggie burger, or 2 hot dogs,  plus a side dish (potato salad, or tater tots, or mac & cheese)  and soft drink (Harmony Springs sodas are among the offerings). The actual cost is higher than $10, but the club will subsidizes the meal.
Dessert and other extras can be purchased on your own.
Reservation with payment is required by 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26. To make your reservation and pay online:
1. Log in to your own PayPal account.
2. Click “send money” and enter who you’re paying: payments@sevenhillswheelmen.org
3. Enter the amount $10.00. (Or $20.00 if you’re paying for two people, $30.00 for three people, etc.)
4. You MUST fill in the box labeled “What’s this payment for?” by typing ONE of the following choices for each person:
