Worcester Cycling History Workshop

Lynne Tolman of the Major Taylor Association will tell the story of 1899 world cycling champion Major Taylor’s remarkable life on and off the racetracks of the world at the turn of the 20th century, and how the legacy of  “the Worcester Whirlwind” is shaping cycling and cities today.

This is part of the MassBike & AARP Intergenerational Bicycle Program, a series of workshops and group rides bringing together adults 50 & older and teens 14-18.

Snacks and networking start at 5:30 p.m. The presentation begins at 6:00.
