World Day of Remembrance – Worcester
Hosted by WalkBike Worcester, MassBike, and Worcester District 5 City Councilor Etel Haxhiaj, this gathering is intended to reflect on traffic deaths and to advocate for safer streets.
Six bicyclists have died on Massachusetts roads in 2023 (in Holyoke, Wareham, Newton, Quincy and Hingham), among more than 2,000 motorists, pedestrians and others killed or injured in traffic crashes in the state.
Speakers will include Monica Tibbits-Nutt, Massachusetts secretary of transportation.
