The ride honors Chinese American cyclist Henry Ar Foon, born in 1874. He is believed to be the first  person of Chinese descent born in the Boston area. He was elected president of the Winnisimmet Cycle Club of Chelsea in 1897.  The ride will go to one of the places he lived, and his gravesite.
