All four routes go to the Quabbin tower, with amazing views of the Quabbin Reservoir. For the first time, the road metric goes all the way around the reservoir. The road century goes to South Deerfield, where the summit of Mount Sugarloaf offers stunning views of the Connecticut River.
Both gravel routes emerge from the woods at the east end of Goodnough Dike for a paved section that includes the Quabbin tower.
A repair stand and tools will be at the rest stop in Pelham , which is on all four routes. Road century riders get $5 toward food/drink at Leverett Village Co-op. The Petersham rest stop is on both road routes, approx. 15 miles from the finish.
It’s not a race.
Start times: 7:00-9:00 a.m.
We’ll have Table Talk Pies at the finish. We expect a food truck and entertainment at the finish.
