Mother’s Day Ride (Beginner Ride Series)

Ride 5 miles round trip on the Coes Reservoir boardwalk and the protected bike lanes along Mill Street in Worcester.

Family-friendly.  Slow pace.

We might even give flowers to moms who RSVP.

Arrive at 10:30 a.m. for a free bike checkup; ride starts at 11:00 a.m.

This is the second in a series of four rides designed to help people transition from cycling on bike paths to cycling on roads. Riders can do any or all of the rides. Helmets are required. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

 May 4 – bike path only, 4.5 miles
 May 11 – bike path and protected bike lane on the road, 5 miles
 May 18 – bike path and on-road riding, 8.2 miles
 May 25 – protected bike lane on the road, road riding with traffic lights and turns, 7.4 miles
